Provincetown Harbor Light

Built in 1875 of brick and mortar, this little gem sits across the bay from Provincetown, on the spit of land that turns back and creates the harbor.
Often referred to as Provincetown Harbor Light, she is identified at night by her green light oscillating every four seconds. Her lamp is thirty-six feet above sea level and can be see from eight miles away.
If you want to get up close to this remote, beautiful place: Easy way is by boat – you can walk out to it, but it is a tough hike; bring plenty of water!
