Currituck Lighthouse

This majestic lighthouse was first lit in December of 1875 and is identified by her flashing white light every twenty seconds. She is painted a beautiful shade of red. The tower is 158' tall and her beacon can be seen from 18 miles to seaward.

Currituck Beach Lighthouse stands a short distance to the north of Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina where you can still drive your car on the great beaches, always an exciting pleasure
